A Simple But Extremely Effective Cleansing Ritual!

1. Sleep with a set of clothing that you do not care for.

This is to absorb your negative energy as well as your body moisture.

2. Going to the beach and enter the water asking for blessings on your left side, and cover your entire body with the ocean water.

3. Make 7 swirls with your body to the LEFT and then 7 swirls to the RIGHT. While doing so, ask yemaya to break all obstacles in your life! Cry if needed, and pour out your heart and soul! She will listen!

4. Then, leave the water, and go to a nearby restroom, and change to a complete set of new white clothing!

5. Take your old wet clothing and leave it in the ocean water with an offering of molasses, watermelon, and flowers!

6. Thank YEMAYA for having cleansed you with her holy 7 seas water!

7. If you live in a state where you don’t have an ocean, then go to the River! OCHUN Will lead your message To YEMAYA! Do not use A LAKE! I have personally used this ritual many times in my life with Great Success! Life is very challenging with many Negative People In Life!

Special Note: If You Have Ocha Crowned, Uncover Yemaya’s Sopera When You Have A Problem, Talk And Cry In It! LET YOU TEARDROPS FALL IN HER WATER! SHE WILL LISTEN! Always Have Faith! Remember, Our FAITH Will Always Be Tested!

Hope This Will Help My Friends!

Respectfully With Much Love,Angelito Yemaya - OLOMIDE of MySanteria.com

Levels of Initiation in Haitian Vodou

vodou baptism image by Gerard ValcinIn the non-asson lineages of the North of Haiti (La Citadel) there is only one initiation and it is the Sevis-tet or Head Service which is often confused with or called by the name of Lave-tet these days.

In the house in which I was initiated an asson lineage (Main Fort) out of PAP, the knowledge of the Sevis-tet of the North was retained and is practicised here for candidates in the USA, not as a washing of the head or lave tet but as “fuller” or more encompassing ritual.

This ritual is what marks one as “petit fey” (a little leaf) or a member of our societe. In our lineage the Kanzo grade can only be bestowed on Haitian soil . So for those who cannot travel, the Sevis Tet is important as it is the “ground level” that all training emerges from. Sevis Tet is the beginning that identifies and harnesses a bossale spirit who is trying unsuccessfully or incompletely to mount an individual and it is a way to calm a Spirit that is causing other mischief in their life.

The sevis tet candiate after the completion of the ceremony, has along with membership in the societe, the right to have a table installed in their home by their Mambo or Houngan for the service of their Lwa, as they will after that point know at least one of their Spirits.

The Sevis Tet “initiation” was called “lave tet” by the Houngan Milo Rigaud, in his 1953 “La Tradition Voudoo et Le Voudoo Haitien” when he traveled thoughout Haiti compiling the history of Sevis Lwa from the mouth of Houngan and Mambo born in the early 20th century, thus in his book one will find reference to the 4 initiations of Haitian Ancestral Practice:

  • Lave Tet ( Baptism)
  • Kanzo aka Hounsi
  • Houngan/Mambo
  • Baille Ge - Having the Eyes (*today we call this initiation ASOGWE)

In the ancient lineages, the Hounsi rank included the dancers and singers capable of possession, that of Mambo or Houngan, the knowledge of how to call and send away various Spirits, and the highest initiatory rank bestowed upon the Mambo or Houngan the power of “sight” or clairvoyance. The Rigaud text is the historic source to the current cross-current about Sevis Tet and Lave Tet or “head washing,” which as I was taught is actually a “treatment” or herbal infusion applied to the hair and head to remove “confusion, and negativity”.

Sevi Lwa varies by geographic region and from Lakou to Peristyle as “Each Houngan/Mambo is the Emperor/Empress of their own kingdom”

Santería church sues Gables over visit from police

BY ELAINE DE VALLE
edevalle@MiamiHerald.com
A local Santeria church leader who says that Coral Gables police officers harassed followers and desecrated a ritual at a resident’s home last year has sued the city for public records he says officials are withholding.
The Church of Lukumi Babalu Aye — which took Hialeah’s ban of animal sacrifices to the Supreme Court in 1993, and won — filed suit in the 11th Judicial Circuit Court of Miami-Dade County last week, comparing the City Beautiful to the communist regime in Cuba and urging the court to compel officials to provide public records.

Attorney David Aelion, representing the church, said the June 2007 incident could be a direct attack to the religion because of what he called excessive police response. He wants the records — including e-mails about the incident, photographs and audio recordings, and police reports and memorandums — to determine if there were federal rights violations.

”At the end of the day, what we want to get to the bottom of is what political might was used here to get out that many police officers for this event,” Aelion said.

”You can’t get 23 police officers to come out if there’s a serious crime. So for somebody to call in and say they are hearing an animal squealing next door, it’s very interesting to me to how it went from that to 23 officers coming out,” he said. “What triggered that and at what political level did that happen? Did the chief call for that? Did a commissioner call for that? A normal response would have been to send out a squad car or animal control.”

‘It sounds a lot like `We’re going to make a statement that this isn’t going to happen in our city,’ and that’s where obviously freedom of religion, First Amendment rights were stepped on,” Aelion said, adding that there also may be Fourth Amendment issues.

”They basically blasted into the house without any warrants and without any probable cause,” Aelion told The Miami Herald Tuesday, adding that there may also be state claims for false imprisonment.

”These folks were held against their will, standing outside for hours,” he said. The 20 or so worshipers, including a 14-year-old boy, ”all of whom were originally from Cuba, claimed to have never experienced such a frightening and invasive event, even being from a country of communist regime,” he said.

City Attorney Elizabeth Hernandez did not return repeated calls to her office and cellular phone for comment. She also did not respond to an e-mail sent Tuesday.

But in previous interviews, Gables Police Assistant Chief Richard Naue said police responded appropriately.

”The person who opened the door was a blood-soaked individual with a knife. The officer saw several decapitated animals and about 15 people in the house. There were numerous knives and a lot of blood,” Naue told The Herald earlier this year.
He said many officers responded after the rookie who first arrived called for emergency backup — which could mean an officer is hurt.

”Anyone in the area — officers on off-duty jobs, traffic officers — are all going to respond to that,” Naue said. But Aelion, who filed a public records request in May, said that kind of response would generate a lot more documents than the 20 or so pages he got from the city.

The 911 call was placed to police on June 8, 2007, from a resident saying animals were being hurt at a neighbor’s home. Officers descended on the house on Casilla Street, whose owner was becoming a priest of the Santeria religion in a ritual that included the sacrifice of 11 goats and 44 fowl.
Nobody was charged after police determined the participants were within their rights because the animals were being slaughtered in a humane fashion, as outlined in the law.

Las Madamas

La Madama ImageThe Madama is a very hard working spirit who with so much passion can remove an evil spell or bad karma or just anything that is not suppose to be there. They are very aware of the world and often are black women from the slavery era. Some of them are from further times but can be very helpful/ One thing about a madama is that they are so straight forward and honest.

One time I was having a spiritual party and a man that I never met was there with his wife. The Madama mounted me and when she was presented to the room she overlooked the husband and went directly to the wife and told her your the dumbest woman I’ve ever seen not because he’s sleeping with Debbie but because your playing so blind to your GOD Child being your husbands son.

Everyone in the room was so shocked because we never met these people. They were friends of a friend! Three months later the woman came for a consultation and told me everything Madama told her was true and had DNA test to prove her point. So if your ever at a party and someone gets mounted with a Madam and people start hiding and running you know who is misbehaving.

Prosperity Ritual With OGUN

Filed Under (Lucumi) by Ruben on 30-06-2008

Dear Brothers & Sisters!

During this time of financial crisis! And tomorrow being Monday, here is a simple ritual for success using OGUN taught by my Godfather from CUBA.

1.Take one of your railroad spike out of your OGUN,
2.Wrap a dollar bill around the spike using honey to make it stick.
3.In front of your house spike it in the ground and cover it with dirt, make sure you don’t forget where you buried it.
4.Over the dirt, feed it an akuko - rooster or 3 baby chicks, pour rum. jutia and pescado ahumado.
5.Ask OGUN to bring financial gain to your home, leave it there for 21 days.
6.remember that the combination of OGUN with Ochuns’s honey, OGUN WILL MAKE MIRACLES!

NOTE: If you live in an apartment, then use a flower pot with dirt and do the same ritual behind your door.

Any questions, feel free to ask!
Much success mySanteria friends!

Papa Liborio

Filed Under (Dominican Vodou - 21 Divisions, Espiritismo/Mediums) by Ruben on 25-06-2008

Gracias Misericordia!

Chakras & Stones

STONES:The rocks that make up the earth’s crust, that we walk on, that comprise our mountain ranges and canyons – have all undergone and continue to experience great change. Rocks are what was once liquid – molten lava – that have cooled and become solid. Rocks are the result of the massive accumulation of particles and plant and animal life that are compacted down, layer by layer. Rocks can not only bend, compress, and erode over time and from the elements, but can even metamorphose into different rocks, by extreme pressure, temperature, and chemical activity. Rocks have life. Rocks have a story to tell. They hold the records of the most ancient histories of our earth. Although sometimes they may not look as aesthetically pleasing to the eye, their powerful, complex energy is amazing. And crystals in particular do indeed have “energy.”

Why do you think it is quartz crystal that is used in watches and radios? A quartz crystal is an oscillator – it receives, transmits, and stores energy. Perfect energy. Quartz is used in a watch because it oscillates at an absolutely perfect rate. And this energy is pure energy. The energy emanating from a quartz crystal when held in your hand is not like the energy in the light bulbs in your house or from the nuclear power plant. The energy of the crystal is direct from nature and pure as nature intended it to be. Crystals hold the true vibration of our planet.
Many people begin their relationship with a new crystal by cleansing it first. Cleansing can also be performed at any time to refresh the crystal, clear it of any residual unwanted energies and “re-charge” it.

Some methods of cleansing:
Water is a universal cleanser. If you have access to the ocean, ocean water is wonderful. If not, spring water, lake water, and filtered water can also work well, as long as the water is either directly from nature or clean (filtered properly.) Some people also add salt to their water, because of its electric properties.

You can simply rinse the crystal in water, or you can follow up by placing the crystal in a clear glass filled with water. Place the glass on your windowsill, ideally facing the south, to charge in the sun.

The Moon can also be used for cleansing and charging. Some people make a ritual of burying their crystal under a full moon, to take advantage of the magnetic forces of the moon in combination with the earth. You may also place your crystal in the direct light of the moon.
Another method is smudging the crystal with sage, incense, or sweet grass.

You can also cleanse and charge your crystal with other crystals. A crystal can be placed on a large crystal cluster or generator (single large quartz crystal.) Citrine in particular is excellent for cleansing the other crystals in your collection. It is one of only two crystals that is automatically self-cleansing, and will cleanse other crystals. The other is Kyanite, which is also extremely helpful in chakra alignment.

CHAKRAS
Each chakra governs the physical, emotional, mental & spiritual well being of its discipline. Thus many of your life decisions & responses are based upon what you do with the information energy to which your chakras are tuned. Chakras are not conscious bodies-they are programmed by messages we receive from culture, family, friends & experiences. Each vibrates at a different speed & affects different aspects of our lives. The lower the chakra the lower its frequency & the more physical the issues it affects. One end is spiritual, fast moving energy-the other end runs physical, slower moving energy. The chakras help out bodies to translate spiritual energy or information-energy into our physical lives.
